Generally your first session will be used as an assessment and consultation, rather than for treatment. All appointments are prepaid in advance. You will be sent an email with instructions on how to pay online through your credit card, online.

At your first appointment with us we will ask you a few questions, discuss some of the events that have brought you to therapy and look at how our services will be able to help. You will have an opportunity to ask any questions that you have about counselling or psychotherapy. We will give you some teachings from deeply positive psychology and happy therapy that will definitely help you for going forward on a happy way.

Yes. Everything you discuss in therapy is confidential — between you and your therapist. There are certain legal exceptions and quality assurance measures to this policy.

There is no “one suits all” fee. Certain complex issues require a highly specialized expert, and the charge can be higher with these. (Our Detailed Pricing Policy).

If you proceed with therapy after your initial consultation, your therapist will be reserved for you at an agreed day and time each week until your therapy ends. To make this possible and to maintain the consistency of your appointments payment is due for all sessions, including any you cannot attend. Sessions cancelled by your therapist will not be charged.

Ideally you will attend all sessions together as a couple. In instances where one of you is unable to attend, most therapists will see the person who can attend. The issues that arise in this individual session will then be shared at the next session when both partners are present.

A psychiatrist is a medical doctor, and is the only form of mental health professional able to prescribe medication, including over the internet.

If you would like to bring a spouse, partner, other relative or friend as moral support to your appointment, they are very welcome. Your therapist will give you the option to add someone in the video call online.

Unfortunately we have had clients who do not show up when their doctor or therapist has made a lot of effort to be there for their appointment, and so we do need to take payments in advance.
